New Managers 101

Objective:

   

The workshop will present tested leadership and followership skills. Group members will participate in a series of group initiatives that allow them to gain practical experience and confidence leading and following.

Outcome:

 

New managers will leave this class with clearly defined skills for leading well, following well, and discerning which role is appropriate for the situation. New managers will learn how to invite feedback that will continue to make them better managers and encourage ongoing improvement. They will gain the knowledge and ability to recognize and utilize diverse strengths, promote accountability, and inspire greater commitment.
