Team Building FAQs

Does Adventureworks offer corporate team building?

Yes. Adventureworks has run experience-based corporate team building since 1987 and is recognized nationally for outdoor team building and leadership development. We host groups at our adventure parks across Tennessee, Virginia, and Arkansas, or we can bring a program on-site to your location.

Where can my company do team building near Nashville?

Nashville-area team building takes place at Adventureworks Nashville West, in Harpeth River State Park at 1300 Narrows of the Harpeth Rd, Kingston Springs, TN — about a 40-minute drive from downtown. A team-building day there can pair the Big Adventure zipline tour and the aerial adventure course with structured group challenges. Our Music City Challenge scavenger hunt launches from a downtown Nashville venue instead. Contact us for a quote.

What team-building activities do you offer?

We combine guided outdoor adventure with structured group challenges. Activities include zipline canopy tours, aerial and ropes courses, and signature programs such as the Music City urban scavenger hunt, the Great Rescue Adventure survival simulation, and the silo-busting Corporate Challenge. Every event is tailored to your team's goals to build communication, trust, and collaboration.

Do you offer team building in Virginia Beach and Hot Springs?

Yes in Virginia Beach, and on a limited basis in Hot Springs. Our main team-building location is Adventureworks Nashville West in Kingston Springs, TN, just outside Nashville. Virginia Beach (1304 Prosperity Rd, about 10 minutes from the oceanfront) also hosts corporate team building. Hot Springs, Arkansas (1700 Shady Grove Rd, at Catherine's Landing) offers a limited program — its 16-element treetop aerial course works well as a group challenge — but not the full menu. We can also bring a program on-site to your own office or venue. Tell us where you are on the form below and we will confirm what we can run for you.

How big a group can you accommodate?

We host teams of many sizes, from small departments to large companies of up to 200 people. Some signature programs scale to the full 200, while others are designed for smaller groups. Tell us your headcount when you request a proposal and we'll match you to the right program.

How much does a corporate team-building event cost?

Custom programs are quoted per group rather than sold at a fixed rate, because pricing depends on your group size, location, and program. Our pre-built programs do have published per-person rates: the Music City Challenge urban scavenger hunt is $45 per person, the Corporate Challenge is $85 per person, and the Great Rescue Adventure is $95 per person. Request a proposal through the form on this page for an exact quote.

How long does a team-building program last?

It depends on the program. Our Corporate Challenge runs about 60 minutes, the Music City Challenge scavenger hunt takes 1.5 to 3 hours, and the Great Rescue Adventure survival simulation runs 2.5 hours. Customized programs typically range from 2 to 6 hours, and can be paired with a zipline tour (about 1 hour at Fontanel, about 1.5 hours at Nashville West) to fill a full day.

Can you bring team building to our office or off-site venue?

Yes. Adventureworks programs can be delivered at one of our team-building parks, indoors at a venue of your choosing, or on-site at your own location — we bring the facilitators and materials to you. Custom programs, ice breakers, leadership sessions, and the Corporate Challenge all travel; activities that depend on park infrastructure, such as zipline tours and the ropes courses, take place at a park.

How do we book a team-building event?

Use the "Request a Team Building Proposal" form on this page to tell us about your group, dates, and goals, and our team will follow up with a tailored plan and quote. You can also reach Adventureworks by phone at (615) 297-2250 or email info@adventureworks.com to start planning.

What makes ziplining good for team building?

Ziplining and aerial courses put teams in a shared, slightly out-of-comfort-zone setting where members encourage each other, build trust, and celebrate small wins together. Because every element is guided and safety-focused, it works for mixed-ability groups and naturally sparks the communication and support that carry back to the workplace.
